Chorus is a year long exploration into the world of countertop kitchen appliances. When surveying the landscape of existing products, what becomes clear is that almost all of them run off of either a motor or some sort of heating element.
By designing a central hub that houses both spinning and heating capabilities, it simplifies each appliance into an electronics-free, dishwasher safe vessel. The result is a product ecosystem that’s more space efficient and affordable, and less redundant and wasteful.

These initial appliances test the concept, but the system has potential to expand for many other kitchen uses. And if you happen to break something, you now only replace part of a system, instead of the whole.
